Weekly Announcements 11/24 - 11/30

We’re heading into an awesome holiday season, and we’ve got some great opportunities to share with you—starting with Advent, serving our community, and making a global impact through missions. Let’s jump in!

First, as we prepare our hearts for Christmas, join us in our Advent Reading Plan starting on December 1st. This plan will guide us through Scripture as we reflect on the hope, peace, joy, and love that Christ brings during this season. It’s a great way to focus on the true meaning of Christmas with your family or small group! You can download the reading plan at mbc95.org - and we can’t wait to walk through it as a church family!

Next, we have several amazing Fall Outreach Opportunities where you can get involved and make a difference in our community this holiday season. At Maranatha, we want to be the hands and feet of Jesus in every season; but certainly in the season where we celebrate the coming of Jesus. Whether it’s volunteering at local events, or helping those in need, there’s something for everyone. Learn more and sign up at mbc95.org/events - and we can’t wait to serve with you!

Finally, let’s talk about our Special Missions Project. As a part of Operation Refuge, we’re partnering with Alpha Ministries and our friend Brother Bennie to support persecuted believers in South Asia who have been displaced from their homes. These believers are currently living in relief camps, and we have the opportunity to provide permanent steel housing in safe locations.

Each home costs $3,500, and we’re hoping to fund the building of two homes, totaling $7,000. Your giving can make a life-changing impact on these families who are standing firm in their faith under incredible pressure. Giving towards this project and many others will take place on December 1st, so join us in making a global impact with our special missions project!

That’s all for now! Be sure to get involved, whether through Advent, outreach, or missions. Let’s continue to be a church that makes a difference here and around the world. Have a wonderful week, Maranatha!
