Weekly Announcements 11/17 - 11/23
Hey Maranatha! We’ve got some exciting events and a new sermon series coming up, so let’s dive in and see what’s happening!
First up, men, it’s time to invite your friends and get ready for some friendly competition! Join us on November 21st for our Men’s Cornhole Tournament & BBQ. It’s going to be a great night of fun, food, and fellowship. Whether you’re a cornhole pro or just in it for the BBQ, come on out and bring a friend! Register at mbc95.org/events - and we’ll see you then!
Also, starting on November 24th, we’re kicking off a brand-new sermon series on the book of Titus. Together, we’ll dive into Paul’s letter to Titus, exploring what it means to live out our faith with integrity and godly character in today’s world. Be sure to join us as we study this powerful book! It’s going to be a fantastic study to carry us straight into the holiday season, and you don’t want to miss it!
Finally, we’re excited about our Special Missions Project. Our partner, Scott C., is leading church planters in Central Asia, and he’s seen more fruit in this season than at any other time in the past 15 years. Maranatha is partnering with him to provide for four church planter trainings happening in the Spring. He’ll be hosting four trainings in this timeframe, and each training costs $2,500, covering everything from meals and transportation to translation. Total costs for this portion of the special missions project is $10,000. Together, we can support these vital efforts and help spread the Gospel in this critical region. Giving towards this project and many others will take place on December 1st, so join us in making a global impact with our special missions project!
That’s all for now! Whether it’s gathering with friends, diving deeper into God’s Word, or supporting missions, we’re so excited about what God is doing here at Maranatha. Have a blessed week!
