Connect Groups
Connect Group Leader
Connect Group Leader loves the people in their group well by finding ways to serve them. The leader also prepares to facilitate discussion about the sermon rather than preaching a message. We want your group to contribute to the discussion to create a sense of belonging, and it helps them better process what they heard from the sermon.
Connect Group Host
The host home opens up their home for the connect group to meet. They also think through their living spaces and design them in a way that accommodates the group and helps to foster connection.

Care Ministry
Women’s Care/Visitation Team:
Our Women’s Care team ministers to the women of MBC who are widowed, homebound or just in need of encouragement and/or fellowship through calls, prayer, time in God’s word, or caring for needs around the home.
GriefShare Facilitator Team:
Have a heart for those who are grieving? Lead small group discussions at GriefShare support group meetings to help bring spiritual and emotional healing to those grieving the death of a loved one.
Thank you so much for your interest in serving at Maranatha! There are many ways to get involved here. If you don’t see an area that you feel particularly comfortable serving in, please don’t let that deter you from getting involved.
You can reach out to Pastor Rob Stopp to find out which areas are best suited to your strengths and the needs of the church!
