Serving the Lord is always a blessing, whether here at home or on the road with our partners. Please consider joining a mission trip in 2025! We are looking for devoted members of Maranatha who are faithfully attending, giving, and serving.

2025 Trips

  • Who: Young adults, adults, families who love the Body of Christ.
What: Outreach and service projects with a young Spanish-speaking
    church plant
Trip Leaders: Steve Bogran and Erick Gil
    Trip cost: $200

This is a cross-cultural mission’s trip that doesn’t require a plane, boat, or passport, offering the chance to help with church renovation. You’ll work alongside local communities, using whatever Spanish you know to communicate and connect with people. It’s a unique opportunity to serve and learn, all while being immersed in a different culture without leaving the country.

  • Who: Believers who love the church! This trip may have something for
    everyone.
What: Local church ministry through service projects and community
    outreach.
    Trip Leader: Greg VanBuskirk
    Trip cost: $1750

Maranatha has had a long and fruitful relationship with John and Rachel Reaser, the founders of Shoulder to Shoulder. The ministry there equips local churches in Mexico to be effective, reproductive, evangelistic, healthy churches. They blend service projects with church ministry. We bless a local church both in helping with a physical project, as well as with outreach and connecting on a spiritual level. This is a great first cross-cultural trip!

  • Who: Children’s Ministry servants
What: As the Bethels lead their conference for missionary families, the
team will provide care and ministry for their children and youth.
    Trip Leader: Nathan Kurcsak
    Trip cost: $2500

This trip involves working with approximately 15 kids, primarily English-speaking, while staying at a Catholic seminary. The focus is on supporting parents as they receive ministry training and encouragement, helping equip them to continue their church planting efforts around the world. It’s an opportunity to contribute to global ministry by investing in the next generation and supporting parents in their mission.

  • Who: Skilled workers (carpenters, plumbers, electricians, etc.) and
    servants, possible evangelists
What: In response to Hurricane Helene, this team will show the love
of Christ by helping rebuild homes in the South.
    Trip Leader: Rob Stopp
    Trip cost: Free
**While we are expecting this trip to happen, it is not yet
    certain.

This trip involves rebuilding homes damaged by hurricanes Helene and Milton, with hard, productive work that utilizes all skill levels. Volunteers will stay at a church, where they’ll enjoy chef-prepared meals. Whether experienced or new to construction, everyone’s abilities will be maximized to help restore the community. There may also be opportunities for evangelism and spiritual outreach, offering emotional and spiritual support to those affected. This trip is a chance to make a meaningful difference through both practical labor and personal connection.

  • Who: Servants who love to be active and share their faith
What: Our team will help with a sports camp (soccer, football,
basketball) with Pasha Tian for the purpose of evangelism.
    Trip Leader: Bryan Jones
    Trip cost: $2550

You’ll be joining Equip Ministries International and Summit Missions for a trip to Pasha Tian, where you'll help run a sports camp, primarily focusing on soccer, for around 120 participants, mostly Ukrainian refugees. As part of the team, you'll lead small group huddles for youth, guiding discussions, sharing testimonies, etc. Expect lots of walking and a stay at a hotel in Warrendorf. There will be some free time for sightseeing, including a trip to Cologne. It’s a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact while experiencing the local culture.
