Our high school ministry, Citizens, focuses on helping students navigate the challenges of life while deepening their relationship with Jesus. We create an environment where they can ask tough questions, build meaningful friendships, and find a solid foundation in God’s Word.
For our middle schoolers, Elevate is designed to engage students at a pivotal stage in life, helping them discover who they are in Christ. Through fun, interactive gatherings and relevant teaching, we aim to elevate their understanding of the gospel and encourage them to pursue a life of faith.

At Maranatha Bible Church, our student ministry is all about seeing the next generation come to know, love, and understand Jesus Christ. We are passionate about equipping students to grow in their faith and live out their identity in Christ, both in their schools and their communities.

Jacob VanEssendelft, Student Pastor
Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Jacob has a deep passion for helping students take their next steps in following Jesus. As the Student Pastor, his greatest desire is to encourage students to live out their faith boldly in every area of life. Jacob believes that growing in their walk and having fun go hand-in-hand, and strives to create an environment where students can experience both in meaningful and memorable ways.
