BOB WEISS

care Pastor | [email protected]

Bob is the Care Pastor at Maranatha Bible Church. His desire is to minister to people within a hospital context, to those who are shut-ins, within a nursing home, or hospice setting, or to anyone in this troubled world searching for biblical hope for the future and for an eternal perspective based on a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He finds it satisfying to remind people of God’s faithfulness to keep His promises, of His love for them, and of His gracious provision for them, both now and forever.

Bob graduated from Penn State with a PhD in Engineering Mechanics and then taught mechanical engineering and math for more than 20 years. He later earned a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies, a Master of Sacred Theology, and a Doctor of Ministry degree at Dallas Theological Seminary. He also graduated from Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, IN with a Master of Divinity degree. He taught several classes in the Bible Departments at Grove City College and Grace College. In addition, he served as a hospice chaplain for 12 years in IN and TX.
